For CV Search job boards such as Reed, Totaljobs and CV-Library, you can preview limited candidate information without using a CV Search credit.
A credit is only used when you choose to unlock the candidate’s full CV.
Enabling redacted CV Preview
Go to the Contracts page in WaveTrackR and find the CV Search contract you want to update.
NOTE: If you use WaveTrackR integrated with Bullhorn or Vincere, you will need to access the stand-alone version of WaveTrackR to view and update your CV Search contract settings.
Click the three dots under the Action column and select Edit contract.
Please note that only users with a Manager role in WaveTrackR can edit contracts.
In the window that opens, go to the CV Searches section and tick:
Enable free CV preview (credit required only for full access)
Once enabled, you can preview limited candidate information without using a credit. A credit will only be taken when you choose to view the candidate’s full CV.
Preview a candidate
Go to the CV Search page and run your search.
When the candidate results appear, click on a candidate’s name to view their redacted CV. This will not use a CV Search credit.
Unlock the full CV
If you want to access the candidate’s full CV, click View with 1 credit.
Once you click this button, one CV Search credit will be taken from your account and the full CV will be unlocked.
The CV will remain unlocked for:
- Totaljobs and CV-Library: 28 days
- Reed: until the daily credit reset the following day
