You can set up an email template for sending automated emails based on specific actions, such as:

  • marking candidates as rejected

  • marking candidates as maybe suitable

  • marking candidates as successful

  • confirming that an application has been received

To enable this, you must first set up email templates and actions.

Go to Settings, which can be found in the dropdown menu under your name in the top right corner.

Once, you have clicked on Settings, scroll down to the section that says Email Templates. Here you can see all the email templates that have been set up. You can also, add new, edit the current ones or delete any of them here.

To edit an email template or add a new one, click the edit icon or the Add New button. This will open a pop-up window. Here, you can name the template, add a subject line, and enter the email text.

Please note that any sections containing {{ }} are filled in automatically. If you remove these, they will no longer work.

You then need to set the action, and once everything is complete, click Confirm to save the automated email template.

When ranking a candidate, automated emails will be sent if they are linked to a specific coloured rank. Alternatively, if you have set emails to send upon receiving a candidate, the email will be sent automatically as soon as the candidate enters your WaveTrackR account.

If no email settings are configured on the Settings page, no emails will be sent. You can manually select candidates and send an email to a specific person. These emails are not automated but can be set up on the Settings page, along with other email templates under No Action Required.
